Georgia D. Polemenakos
Georgia D. Polemenakos currently works full-time in healthcare administration and part-time as the Executive Director for The Pocketbook Project.
Additionally, she is an MPA candidate at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. Prior to that, Ms. Polemenakos worked for Governor Charles D. Baker for 7+ years in various capacities, most recently as his Senior Deputy Director of Boards and Commissions. During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, Polemenakos was hand-selected by the Governor’s Senior Staff to lead the Governor’s PPE Procurement Vetting Team and assisted the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in procuring millions of pieces of PPE to front-line workers throughout the Commonwealth. Ms. Polemenakos is a strong proponent of public service. She recently completed a fellowship for the Women’s Public Leadership Network (WPLN) where she was responsible for assisting women interested in running for public office. She also volunteers locally as a committee member on the Adams Presidential Center Advisory Committee and as a director on the Quincy Animal Shelter Board of Directors. Ms. Polemenakos earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2016 from Suffolk University in Political Science where she was honored as a ‘10 under 10’ honoree for making significant contributions in her field and in the community.
